Dear Past and Future Ranger Institute Participants,
The time is fast approaching for the 2010 Ranger Institute. I hope you have all marked your calendars for January 3 – 8, 2010. We have another outstanding list of classes planned for you. The Board of Directors continues to outdo itself every year and I as always am very appreciative of their efforts.
Please continue to promote the Institute to any other agencies in your area that you feel might be able to benefit from this timely and cost effective training. This is still the best opportunity for your training dollar available anywhere in the country. We want to also continue to encourage college students to attend and we look forward to seeing some of our old friends that we haven’t seen in a while. We also hope to expand on our International presence as Reno Batog who attended last year from Dublin, Ireland assures me he will be back and hopes to bring some of his colleagues.
As has become our tradition we ask that you wear your uniform or business attire to our Banquet. We also ask that you bring at least one door prize if possible and patches to trade if you like. If at all possible I ask agencies that can to bring vans, so that it will cut down on the number of vehicles needed for off-site classes/trips.
Here’s wishing each of you a safe and happy Holiday Season. I look forward to seeing all of you in Salemburg, January 3rd. I once again expect this to be the best Institute yet.
